So Many Birthdays! (Mid-April 2009)
A lot of people around me have their birthday around this time of the year!
It was Papie first and then Geneviève, my best friend Annabelle, my mom, Gail, my uncle Chris and finally my cousins Holly and Ryan! This means many parties, a lot of fun, a lot of junk food and staying up late! I love it!
Look at me wearing Papie's straw giant hat! There were more than enough hats for everybody in Papie's basement!
We are also ready to introduce properly my little brother (I hope so and he will be named Shadow) or my little sister (if I must, I will call her Lolo).
Mommy is 16 weeks pregnant and the baby is doing fabulous. We discovered at the ultrasound that he or she is a mover. He or she was doing backflips in mommy's tummy! The due date is October 1st, but mommy is more likely to deliver a few days ahead of time with a planned c-section. Mommy had bad nausea for the first trimester, but she is doing better now. I feel her pain as I am pregnant too! Mommy is not sick anymore, she finally got rid of her flu and cold but she is a bit worn out from hosting so many diseases! So is daddy since he works so hard and has to take care of mommy and myself! Thank you daddy!
Finally here is a clip of mommy/me/Ryan blowing mommy's birthday cake!
Welcomed and Unwelcomed Visitors (early April 2009)
We have been really busy lately. Mommy is working less, I guess the teachers are not getting sick! Good for them and us because we have been able to have visitors coming over. Unfortunately, every time we have little friends coming over we get sick. We all got a cold a few weeks ago (mommy still has it) and now we get hit by a nasty stomach flu.... Daddy was an angel and took care of us and then he got it too! Poor daddy and he had to go to work on top of that.
Daddy also helped grand-papa in the basement, can you guess what he was doing?
We are so lucky to have our family members to help us when we are sick. Aunt Stephanie took good care of me when mommy went out partying in spite of being sick! I even slept over there, it was so much fun, I can't hardly wait to do it again. Next time, it will be in their new house!
I got to play with Aurelia and cheer for the Canadiens! They won, it was a great evening. I also got to play with two beautiful babies, Sofia and Darcy, they did not join me in the water but it was still a lot of fun!
Now, I just want to get better so that I can go swimming with my mommy.
Playing with William & Felix (March 21st 2009)
Mommy drove for a little while longer than we usually do to go visit me cousins William and Felix.

It was worth the drive, we had a blast together!

We went to the park, played hockey, went for a stroll, and best of all I got to play with their toys in their beautiful playroom! The boys had so many fun trucks, cars, ambulances, helicopters, firetrucks, their playroom is so different from mine!
We even had daiquiries, in spite of the chilling wind outside!
I'll go back for a visit for sure! Thank you aunt Geneviève and uncle Robert for inviting us!
I will leave you with a short clip of me learning to make burping sounds with a plastic cup! I was laughing so hard, until mommy took out her camera! Oh well, it remains funny for us!
Diving for Hippos and Kissing Lolo Good Night! (March 14-15 2009)

I have been so busy as usual! A title likes that makes you wonder what my mom gets me involved with!
I gave all of my sucies to the bunnies , I think I had 7 lying around! One at each one of my grand-parents' house, two in the minivan, one in the car and two more at home! Since I gave them away it's payback time for mommy and daddy, especially mommy! I have screaming contests at night and before napping to see who will cave first, Mommy usually loses! I pretend I have to go potty, that I am thirsty or hungry, that I want a hug, a song, that I am not tired or even that I have a dog hair in my mouth.
I even have extended my tantrums to day time! I challenge mommy with everything I want or don't want. I try to make her compromise and give me more of the good stuff and less of the yucky stuff. I think I am about to succeed at driving her bananas!
I still manage to be cute though otherwise all my strategies would not work on anybody! Look at me brushing my teeth with uncle Chris. His dad is a dentist and one day he will look at my broken tooth (mommy says it's not broken, it's genetic, but I say it's broken). My uncle Chris cam over just to see me and play with me, I was so happy! Tante Stephanie was awesome too, she played with me all day and let me walk Lolo outside for the second time! Mommy was pretty nice too, she does try, I have to give her that, she brought me outside to my favorite playground, but I had to go number two presto... and the washrooms were not open... I can't believe I had to poo in the park's garbage bin in front of other kids playing! It's so embarrassing mommy! Thank goodness, she did not take a picture of that!
Actually mommy sucks lately at taking pictures. We saw Eric and Bear the poodle, whom I wanted to see so badly for 3 days and mommy did not even take a picture of that memorable moment! I also got to play with Aurelia, Chris and Marianna, and yet again no pictures! Wow mommy, you will have to do better next time around!
I have a lot to say this week but very little to show for it! Mommy brought me to the pool where I got to swim and dive with tante Caro and Grand-maman. It was so much fun. Mommy had to stay on the sideline to take pictures and videos because she forgot her tankini top! Where is her head lately, I wonder? I guess she does the best she can with what she has!
Enjoy this two clips, I am adorable in each one of them (not to brag but it's true!).
Dancing with Uncle Chris (Feb. 15 2009)
Sinus Infection (Early February 2009)Mommy and I have been sick for almost two weeks. We are both afflicted by a nasty sinus infection. Mommy agreed to go see a doctor once Julie convinced her she had a sinus infection and she needed antibiotics to treat it. Well, Julie was right but we still managed to do a few things over the last few days as we are slowly getting better.
I stayed home all week long with mommy. I got to play with daddy as he was working the evening shift at the broadcast station.
Just before we got sick, we saw Maribel, Geneviève and Julie... Coincidence we got sick, yes! They were kind enough not to give us their stomach flu. Maya got the nasty sinus infection at daycare.
Daddy has been working a lot, he loves it.
He got to work on the media coverage for the NHL All Star Game and made a bundle of money while having so much fun.
Daddy was tired of being surrounded by us lady sickoes that he invited his friend Eric and puppy Bear to come over for supper. I had a great time with them, I even invited them in bed to play hide and seek and stick stickers in my book.
Tante Caro's friend had her second child last Friday and she was invited to be in the delivery room to witness this special moment.
Tante Caro even offered to dogsit her dog Bailey's over the weekend.
You say dog and I'm in but when you say two dogs nothing will stop me to go play with them, not even a sinus infection.

Bailey's and Shadow get along so great, we had a lot of fun playing with them, inside and outside Caro's house.
Mommy brought me to Plaisirs d'Hiver where I got to jump on some inflatable castles.
I love these types of events even if sometimes I need help getting down some slides.
Sorry we missed Alexandra's baby shower, we just did not want to contaminate a mommy that is just about ready to deliver. We'll see you soon though.
Geneviève and Julie had a lot of fun playing with daddy's Wii so did the rest of us watching them play!
New Year's Eve (December 31st, 2008)
Mommy had the great idea to go downtown visit an archeology museum on this last day of 2008. Mommy read that there was a special gathering of four types of Santa under the same roof. I had to wait a good hour before I got to meet them. I wandered through the pots, pipes, coins, arrow heads and small remnants from our ancestors. So much fun, I really enjoyed going up and down all the stairs. We also saw an exhibit about Costa Rica at the speed of light before I was tempted to touch anything!
I finally got to meet Babouchka from Russia and I sat by her fire in her cabin to listen to her story about how every year she delivers presents to little children in the hope of finding Jesus.
Mommy really enjoyed learning about all those traditions, so did I. Daddy was so impressed that I could focus and listen to people for so long. He couldn't, he kept on staring at me!

We also met Melchior, a king from Persia who was sent along with two other kings to deliver presents to baby Jesus. I wonder who that Jesus is. He must be important!

For the first time of my life, I got really really really scared. I met Pierre Le Noir, Saint-Nicholas' assistant. The one that delivers bad presents to the naughty boys and girls that Santa will not bother to visit.

Daddy and Mommy were there to protect me, but I couldn't wait for him to leave.
Finally I got to see Santa and sing a song with him. I was so happy to see him before he returns to the North Pole. I wanted to thank him from the bottom of my heart for all the nice presents I received over the holidays. Merci Père Noël! See you next year I hope.
