Finally a real snowstorm hit us this winter (Late Feb 2012)


What do we do when there is barely no snow on the ground but it's too cold to play outside?


We go to the Aquadôme!


Tante Caro joined us and we loved it as usual.


Caro complained that the water was too hot! I would never say that! I am after all a warm-water fish and so is Gabriel, mommy and daddy.


Gabriel was stuck on mommy the whole time, but tante Caro and daddy managed to take him away from her a few minutes.


Gabriel slapped daddy in the face. He tends to do that a lot.


Dad told him not to do that even if he secretly finds it funny!


Gabriel started to fake cry. He is a master actor like I am!


Daddy thought that was funny too!


I had fun and we stayed in the water a very long time.


On the way back from the pool it started snowing!


Yes, we got a good 15 cm for once.


On top of that, it was wet snow, perfect to make snowmen.


We made 3 in one hour. Grand-maman gave each one of us a snowman kit that comes with a plastic carrot, a pipe, buttons, scarf and hat to make the perfect snowman!


We used them right away! Gabriel even wanted to put two noses on his snowman!


With all that snow I was able to go to Maneige, a free place to try skiing for the first time.


I had a mini-lesson and I was able to practice for a good 45 minutes. I want my own skis and I want to take skiing lessons now! I really liked my ski instructor. He was so cute and so funny!


Mommy and Gabriel disappeared for 30 minutes and I did not even notice! They went inside the ski chalet to eat a warm soup and a croissant.


They were able to look at me the whole time through a window while staying warm.


We also went to the last winter festival in the area. I really liked Zuruba, a percussion group.


Gabriel was the lucky one to hug Baladin this time around.


Mommy was really proud of Gabriel and how well behaved he is becoming. It took a while but she is no longer ashamed or scared to bring him along with us! Gabriel took this picture of mommy! She still looks tired but she is healthy and ready to go back to school as a student this time around!

Spring is supposed to knock at our doors but luckily I think winter will stay here a bit longer than anticipated!

Meeting Rex! (Feb 2012)


Gabriel was so excited to meet the real Rex from Toy Story!


There was a fantastic exhibit at the Montreal Science Center with 18 real size and moving robotic look-alike dinosaurs.


We had so much fun there.


We also finish the afternoon by watching Happy Feet 2 on a huge Imax screen in 3D!


We spend a lot of time at the Science Center learning about physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, optics, etc...


Yes mommy and I were in heaven or in a bubble!


I can lift myself with a few pulleys! That was my favorite experiment.


I can keep my balance on a skateboard. I have had some practice at home on the skateboard Santa gave me last Christmas.


Gabriel liked the lights and the optics experiments. He was such a good boy all day long! Mommy was very proud of us as we don't go out just the three of us too often.


We finally got rid of our colds so we could go see lovely Jackson.


Look at him, he is not only stunning, but so friendly and fun to be hanging out with. We really enjoyed playing in his huge basement playroom. We ran around and I scared him. He thought I was hilarious!


We got to leave Gabriel behind with daddy to go to a winter festival near tante Caro's house.


We did it all in three hours at -20 degrees Celcius.


We went skating and sliding.


We jumped in bouncy castles and watch a clown make fun of parents!


Gabriel is really into preparing food for us! This red button is to deliver juice (his favourite food item in the world).


Everyone is starting to see a real link with mommy as our little screamer is getting older. Gabriel is starting to sleep better at night. Mommy is touching wood as every time she mentions it, it stops!

Plowing through more sick days! (Feb 2012)



We all have been sick for a while (except daddy who goes through any disease in less than 2 days!). Actually daddy is not sick but he has a broken rib that is taking a while to heal.


We are getting heavy, I with my 48 pounds probably inflicted him this injury while playing with him.


Gabriel is a light weight at 27 pounds. We know our weights because we eventually went to the hospital to see a doctor about our never ending couching!


We still get out and enjoy the weirdest winter ever. One day is cold while the next one is warm and there is barely any snow... Not so fun for winter fun activities, but we try anyway! Sofia even went down the hill with mommy and Gabriel for the first time in her life! The second time, they all fell off the sleigh and mommy banged her head pretty hard against the rock-hard snow... Poor mommy she got a painful neck for a week, but thankfully both Gabriel and Sofia did not get hurt and were not scared!


Antoine got to try on skating! He was really good for a first-time opportunity. He was able to stand and walk with the skates. Gliding will come later.


I let him use my skates while I ran around with tante Caro.


We invited Charlotte for a sleepover! She even came to play outside with us.


She was totally disgusted by Gabriel eating snow.


I always have so much fun with my cousin. I love her so much. She is one of my favorite person in the whole wide world.


We also got to dogsit Shadow. He was pulling me so hard. He took me for a walk!


We went to a winter carnival for a whole 15 minutes since mister cranky and sickly pants wanted to leave and go back home.


Next time he is staying with grand-maman!


At daycare we get to go play outside when it is not too cold.


My brother is the one who wants to wait in the car while I continue playing with my friends!


Here is Cédrik, my best buddy. I love playing with him.


Here is Zacchary, he is whinny like Gabriel!


There are Louis and Sofiane, the two youngest of the bunch.


I still like daycare but I m looking forward to attending kindergarten!


I am done wearing a diaper and I can wipe my own bottom now!


I am a big girl now!


Gabriel will miss me so much coming September! I will miss him too but nearly not as much!
