Subin and Michel are in town (July 2012)

Gabriel has the coolest godfather! I love Michel, but I must say that my two godfathers are really cool as well!

Back to Michel, he is so cool, he married a gorgeous girl, Subin. He is spending his summer here and he came over for daddy's birthday and to play golf with daddy. Poor daddy, he lost at golf, at horseshoe, at pool bocci...

It doesn't matter, we are having a blast with these two!

Michel also won the contest of throwing me up in the air all the way to the sky!

Gabriel is jumping like a pro and started swimming with his face in the water all on his own. No more noodle. He needs to stay close to the ladder, but it's a good start for a two year old boy!

Gabriel is celebrating his victory with daddy! It's easier to have a 30 pound boy on your shoulders instead of a fifty pound girl!

Mich used to skateboard! I told you he is cool! Subin was willing to try it with her high heels on!

With tried to flip the board! I am still trying but I need tips! Help me!

We both attacked him like a year ago when he left to go back to Korea. We are hoping to see him a few times before he goes back again! I love you Subin and Michel!

Swimming in the Atlantic (July 2012)

Wow! We went to see the sea! Daddy had finally a few days off in a row, a whole week actually!

We drove 7 hours to go to Saco, Maine, USA. It was my first time seeing the Atlantic ocean! I really enjoyed jumping over the waves!

Mommy was chocked at how cold the water was! Bone crushing cold!

Gabriel and I did not care one bit about that! I ran and jumped all day and so did my brother.

Daddy managed to find a local beach with free parking where there was no tourist! We stayed away from the thousands of Quebeckers going to Old Orchard every year! Mommy and daddy don't like big crowds.

The best part about building sand castles is to destroyed them! Gabriel did his fair share of that and it made me cry a few times!

I was ready to stay many days at the beach... I cried and I beg, but we could only stay a day and a half. Well that's better than not going at all.

It was really nice to have a former biologist and Stanley Park naturalist find all kind on neat animals and plants by the beach.

Mommy found sea stars, sea weed, sea urchins and sand dollars among other things!

Gabriel was tired from all the excitement.

We decorated our sand castles with rocks and sea shells found on the sea shore.

Family portrait with daddy's long arm!

We went to the mini-golf.

For a good 5 minutes!

Why do you ask? Gabriel had a liquid #2 on green #8! $30 down the drain!

Daddy booked a mini-cottage with a kitchen and three bedrooms. Good move daddy! There was an indoor swimming pool that we used too and a playground outside, very good amenities as well.

That's the LIFE we left to come back to Montreal?

Really?

Mommy is showing us an exoskeleton from a crab. I was afraid of that!

I was not afraid of sea snails... I guess they don't pinch.

We only wanted to be with daddy at the beach. We love playing with him.

Yes, the biologist was annoying at times! I'm only kidding! She found a sea urchin just like that!

I took me all my courage to touch the sea star attached to this rock that mommy found!

Gabriel was not afraid of anything... We all had a grand time except when I lost it because mommy did not buy my a slush or when Gabriel screamed for 24 minutes straight in the car because I was singing! I really want to go back next month if possible, it's very unlikely but one day we will see you again wonderful sea!

LACHUTE 2.0

Wow, we went to Lachute again this year. We spent two days there but we did so much!

First, on the way there, we had to stop at the Exotarium in Saint-Eustache!

Gabriel is crazy about turtles and animals in general! I love them too, even tarantulas!

Gabriel touched it too!

We both touched the reptile that has a blue tongue and losses its tail when necessary!

Wow, I had a python on my shoulders!

The snake was bigger than Gabriel and he was not scared. He wanted to hold its head!

Darcy fell in love with my mom. It gave Angie and well deserve break!

Happy Gabriel eating Cheetos before the Lachute annual parade.

We were all ready and excited to watch the parade go by and get candy!

We saw big tractors, donkeys, horses, and...

pin pon pin pon!

We also went to the Lachute fair and fed the goats.

Gabriel fed a llama.

We pretended to drive huge tractors.

We rode on poneys.

Darcy really enjoyed her ride.

Do did we!

Not this one! Look on Gabriel's face! He got scared but did not cry and was ready to go again!

Darcy was blowing kisses at mommy!

The dragon went really fast! We were in heaven!

The caroussel is too slow for our taste but still fun.

The best thing is to go boating with Kevin on the lake!

I got to drive it! So did mommy and Gabriel.

Gabriel kept on screaming fast, fast, vent, vent!
