Glowing in the dark type of fun! (January 2012)

Gabriel and I love playing in the dark with glowing sticks!

We take a bath we them, we play hide and seek, we jump in the bouncy castle, we fight like they are swords, we dance and put on a show using them!

It's too bad that after a few uses (we keep them in the freezer when not using them) they stop working and we have to throw them out!
Meet Sherlock, the cutiest puppy ever! (Jan 2012)

My dream came true for a few hours!

I was surrounded by 4 dogs, one of which was a puppy.

3 Golden Retrievers and 1 Black Labrador.

I stayed with them as long as I could at my tante Caro's house.

She is dogsitting for the next two weeks (unfortunately not the puppy).

Every night I dream of getting a puppy. I will get myself one when I am an adult.

My parents don't want dogs, but I saw my mom's face change when she saw Sherlock. I am harrassing her to get a dog one day! The sooner the better.

She says it would only happen if a dog stayed as a puppy forever. I told her we could get a puppy and then give it away in order to get another puppy and so on.

My mom laughed and said it was not that easy! She said we get attached to a dog and we cannot do that!

Thank you so much Sandra (Sherlock's master) for letting me play with Sherlock and thank you tante Caro for inviting us over and thinking of me for this special moment.

Other fun moments inside (January 2012)

The snow is getting slow at piling up this year. All I want to do is a snowman and I can't! I can still skate and slide. The thin layer of snow allows for that at least but that will be shown in other blogs!

Otherwise we play inside.

Here is me as Mario! My dad has beating Super Mario Galaxy twice now! He is the MAN I tell you! Gabriel totally agrees! Encore daddy encore!

We love playing hide and seek in the dark with glow sticks. This way it is much harder to find daddy hiding from us! Mommy is getting good at finding him, he is running out of spots to hide!

We have been playing with our dollhouses. Gabriel is crazy about his playmobile and I love playing with my 3 Kens and my countless Barbies.

This one is Jason. He looks so much like my dad! He always wear his sunglasses!

We play and pretend to fight in the bouncy castle.

That is always a fun activity to release that excess energy!

I also practice to skateboard inside so that I am ready comes springtime!

I (I mean my mom) do arts and crafts with my mom when my brother is napping.

We go and play a lot with tante Caro, Marc-André and Antoine. They are always willing to join us in our impromptu activities! On top of it, they have Shadow and an amazing playroom in their renovated basement!

What fun we can have with a blanket!

It is Antoine's favourite activity!

Look at that insane static electricity on Gabriel's hair!

I am aware I am getting very heavy for this activity but I still want to enjoy it!

Eldica (Charlotte's friend) is very tall and strong and was able to do it for a while!

Charlotte and I also sang with her karaoke machine!

The Zoo in winter?! (early January 2012)

We went with tante Caro and Marc-André's family to the zoo.

It was really worth going in the winter.

It was cheaper, fewer people and lots of animals to see!

We had a perfect day where it was not too cold!

I kept diving on the ground to make snow angels!

Tante Caro was the official photographer for the day.

She took loads of pictures of Antoine and Marc-André.

This one is crazy! It looks like we are on vacation at the beach but dressed in winter clothes!

She also got to take many pictures of mommy with us!

Unfortunately daddy was working, but we might go again next year.

We got to see some animals outside.

We saw zebras walking in the snow. That was surreal!

We saw tigers and jaguars.

We saw gorillas and they are huge and impressive!

This one is a statue of course! The gorillas were inside!

We saw an owl that was hooting back at us!

We saw giraffes really upclose!

We saw elephants. One urinated in front of us for a few minutes releasing hundreds of liters at once!

We also saw animals inside. Tante Caro made a great lunch for all of us.

Grand-maman Thérèse and grand-papa Michel (Antoine's biological grand-parents) came with us.

We were outnumbered by adults!

Gabriel slept through the afternoon, using the stroller all for himself.

Antoine and I wanted to sit down but we couldn't! We walked a lot! Gabriel missed a lot but he was a happy camper all day long!

He missed the inflatable igloo!

He also missed the kangoroos!

What a great day it was. We all fitted in one van to go there! It was nice and cozy!
