My baby brother is now ONE (late september 2010)


Did you notice mommy got a haircut? Everyone seems to like it!

Last week Charlotte came for a sleepover before she gets too busy with high school! We went shopping for our Halloween costumes. I could not believe my luck when Charlotte found a Scooby Doo costume!!! I am so excited I cannot wait to show it to you all!

I gave my parents the permission to show this picture of the biggest injury I ever got. Yes, I have been very lucky so far... I fell on a stool that I was standing on while watching and playing with my baby brother that was still in his crib. I landed on the stool's leg and broke it off. It was very painful and it even bled!

Gabriel's favorite game is to eat and to color with big Crayola chalks. They are non-toxic but a bit messy! Gabriel is now ONE. He doesn't speak, even his only word, maman has disappeared from his vocabulary. He doesn't walk but he is as fast as lightning at crawling and going up and down the stairs. He doesn't use too many signs, he will once in a while blow a kiss, sign eat, milk and more... but everyone understands him. He screams really loud when he is unhappy. He laughs at his own mischief. He can throw a ball really well and get in and out of a kid's car and go up and down a slide. He has 4 teeth and he is tiny, long and slender like his dad!

Apple Picking, a true family tradition (september 2010)


We went apple picking again this year. I love this family tradition!!!

We used this event to celebrate tante Caro's birthday. She was surprised that so many family members decided to join us. It was a lot of fun!

Mommy did not tell me that Charlotte was coming, that was a nice surprise for me!

I got to ride Bobby the poney like last year!

No fear just plain old fun!

Gabriel enjoyed his day as well. He got to stay in mommy's arms all day long!

This year I was really old enough to use the ladder by myself!

Attending the Yo Gaba Gaba show tainted me forever!
Gabriel was happy to spend some time with Marc-André. My baby borther ate so many apples!

We had so time to play in the playground and look at the farm animals! Another great adventure!

Gabriel's first birthday party (september 11th 2010)

Oh my!!! Is Gabriel almost one already? I guess so, he was born last fall and yet again we feel that automn is in the air.


We celebrated Gabriel's first birthday two weeks ahead of time since many of our family members are traveling abroad in the next few weeks! The only ones staying home are tante Stephanie (as she is 8 months pregnant) and us! By the way, tante Caro made and decorated that amazing car cake (it was not only beautiful but delicious as well).


It was made official that Chris and Michel are Gabriel's godfathers with Eric as well. Yes three!!! I have two and he has three!!!

We all blew the candle on the cake with Kiran that was enjoying every minute of it!

Shadow enjoyed eating everything falling on the ground or sticking on my brother's face and arms!

Gabriel loved the bubble machine...

so did Michel and Subin!

The boys (including the daddies) had fun playing with the cars and the racetrack.

Grand-maman, grand-papa, Marc-André and tante Caro were very generous as usual! Grand-maman came to clean the whole house with mommy while grand-papa fixed some broken things!



Mammie practice holding Cole (Carmen's and Nilesh 1 month old baby), her talents will no doubt be required when tante Stephanie delivers baby Jackson!

I was so happy to see Kiran, but I don't understand why he had to hit me on the head a few times. I also don't understand why mommy gets mad at me for crying when someone hits me!


Michel was having a lot of fun teasing daddy making his speech to welcome the three godfathers in Gabriel's life or was it when daddy wore the fake nose and glasses.
They teased him that the small plastic nose was an improvement over his real nose. I don't understand? What is wrong with daddy's nose?

Carmen is a super mom. Cole is very happy where he is right now.



Is this Jackson? No it's Matthew, Chris and Marianna's son. He is a giant for a 4 month old baby (just like Aurelia is now!


Here I am crying again... Do I cry that much?

Michel and daddy had fun playing horseshoes.
