Jackson's Baptism (Jan. 17th, 2011)

It was Jackson's baptism. It was the first time I was going to one! I believe it was also my first time into a church. I had so many questions about it... and I really enjoyed it.


Daddy is Jackson's Godfather! I very proud one!


I went to the church without Gabriel... he was at home sick with Grand-maman.

I feel like writing with another color! Jackson makes funny faces when daddy plays with him! No one is sure if he likes it or not.

Jackson was such a good boy during the ceremony.

His cousin Sienna wasn't (she was thirsty and missed her mommy, the Godmother, which was busy at the front of the church!).

Mommy went to a winter camp with her students this week... and had a bus accident. Nothing bad, just a bus stuck in a ditch for a few hours!


Mommy also offered a Baby Signs conference last week. I am always happy to see Beebo!

Gabriel is Darth Vader's soldier (but don't tell daddy, it's a secret).

Visitors with food! (early January 2011)

Gabriel and I had a good week at daycare. It was the first time going back since the Christmas break! It was a short week as we only went for three days.

We see less mommy during the week as she is still working as a teacher in that nice private school... but she makes up for it during the evening and on the weekend! I enjoy dancing so much and you should see my moves! Actually you will if you look at the clip at the end!

Michel and Subin came over (with a delicious South Korean dish that I did not eat, it was too spicy for me) and gave me a nice book and a lovely shirt. Most importantly, I got to play with Subin (a lot since we get along great) and I showed them my Wii skills at bowling and boxing. It was fun, I did not want them to leave nor go to bed! Subin even got to rock Gabriel to sleep (that's amazing!!!).

The weekend started on a good note as we went to see tante Caro and got to go to one of my favorite playground near her house. Antoine and I sat in the jogging stroller while I was holding Gabriel on my lap! Shadow was running like a maniac and having fun chasing a stick.

Gabriel enjoyed when I pushed him on the swing. I love being a big sister and I think that Gabriel enjoy having me as a sister (most of the time).

Antoine is a big fan of the swing, he was in heaven. He did not want to leave the playground, but Gabriel was getting cold and thirsty.

I got to go to the Aquadome with mommy as daddy had the day off and stayed home with Gabriel.

Mommy got to use her new digital camera that is waterproof and shockproof!

She had fun taking pictures while I enjoyed playing in the water!

We did not stay too long, this heated pool gets quite busy on the weekend!


I have to practice my diving skills so mommy can get my face underwater next time!

A warm New Year (2011)


The new year started on a good note!

Thank you Charlotte, Françoise and Jean for my precious scooter. I go everywhere in the house with it!

Françoise and all of my great-aunts got cuddles from baby Juliette.

Juliette enjoyed every minute of the party! She did not even nap! She is so different from Gabriel who did not let anyone hold him and slept through most of the day because he couldn't have mommy's full attention.

Ggrand-maman's family members were so nice to me and so happy to spend time together. It was a real pleasure to host this family reunion for the first time.

The kids (including Ariane) got to play in the bouncing castle!

We celebrated New Year with tante Caro. I made cookies with her!

Grand-papa is smart, he knows that a soft plush blanket will get him a short cuddle from Gabriel!
He doesn't have to do that with me. I love my grand-papa!

You can see here that Gabriel is daddy's boy! They have a very special bond these two.


I have a special bond with mommy, television and my DS!

Is it global warming? It was raining early in January and the snow melted!


I was able to enjoy playing in the snow before the rain came!

So did Gabriel! No I am lying right here! He likes going outside as long as he is being held in someone's arms!

Reach for the sky! Here is the universal sign for pick me up please!

He wants to follow me everywhere and do whatever I do...

even sliding down a steep hill! He enjoyed it so much he went down 5 times!




I got to use my bike a few times this week!
