My little brother is 2! (Late September 2011)

I can't believe my little brother is two. He is not a baby anymore. My mom thinks otherwise, but that's another story altogether.

He received so many gifts! It was great since I get to play with all his stuff too! One of his favorite was of course the bowling set Caro and Marc-André gave him!

Another great thing is that my mom always organizes cool activities on our birthday. She knows that Gabriel love insects, especially butterflies, so we went to a butterfly greenhouse that just opened on the South Shore. He enjoyed the fountain as well. He got wet in a few minutes and was pretty much naked for the remainder of the day! That is typical Gabriel right here!

Christine and Stephanie were the most popular target for butterflies.

I was too!

Can you guess who was not thrilled by that?

Everyone else loved the butterflies and the nice plants.

There was also a mini-farm on the site. It was great. Gabriel loved the chicken, the ducks and the goats!

Others preferred the pigs.

Others preferred hugging the kids!

Especially the birthday boy!

Darcy and Mommy tried to hug and kiss Gabriel just like the donkeys did!

I liked everything.

So did Darcy and Angie.

So did Johanne and Sofia. I am sure that Alex, in his mom's belly, enjoyed it too!

Jackson and Chris had a blast too!

We had a wonderful day and I was really glad that Charlotte was there to play with me as well. She has some good lungs as you can see!

Mommy organized a few fun games. Everyone enjoyed hitting the pinata except Daddy who was holding it! I am sorry Daddy that I hit your hand with the broom.

We got dizzy trying to pin the Woody's star on his chest. Mommy made us spin the number of our age. Charlotte almost puked after spinning 14 times!

We all enjoyed the wonderful cake prepared by tante Caro. Buzz looked good and tasted delicious.

Grand-papa and quite a few of us had allergies in the indoor mini-farm. He decided to stay outside.

We ended the day playing and eating at grand-maman's house. Charlotte showed us her baladi moves. She is quite good. It was a magical day and now I can't barely wait for my birthday!
Apple Picking 2011

As you already know, we go apple picking a few times every fall!

This is one of our favorite family oriented activity and we just love eating fresh sweet juicy and hard apples!

The weather was perfect except what is up with the mosquitoes this year!!!

They are everywhere! We love apple picking so much we even went with our daycare! I don't have any pictures of that... sorry.

One of the next activity is... you know it... my favorite holiday of the year...

Yes Halloween! I am sure my aunt will be there to host another Halloween party this year again!

On the last day of summer (September 21st, 2011)

On this last day of summer, I will publish a few pictures of other fun things we did this summer!

We visited the Montreal Planetarium. I got to see the sun through a telescope! I saw the sun's flares. I was impressed.

Gabriel enjoyed the show at the planetarium. The little guy loves looking at the stars and at the moon. He also enjoyed running around and going down the handicapped ramp as fast as he could!

We checked what time it was on a sun dial!

We saw Honda and she really liked me and my brother!

We played outside a lot with mommy and daddy.

I love the neighborhood I live in!

We went to Thierry's birthday party.

My mom was so happy to see her old teacher colleagues from last year that she forgot to take pictures of my friend Charlotte and of her bunny.

Look at this gorgeous playhouse. I want to ask my grandpa to build me one.

I went to a 5 km race with my mom, aunt Caro and Christine. We all ended up doing a 10 km race in 70 minutes. I was proud of my mom since she had not really been running since the last year, except on a few occasions. My aunt can run much faster than my mom. She must be use to run faster with Shadow. Christine is simply a superstar in my books. She is running the Montreal Marathon this year!

Now let's get ready for the next season with Gabriel's birthday! Brandon came for a birthday practice and we all had fun!

Godfather Danny was in town (August 2011)

I am the luckiest little girl in the world. My Godfather Dan from BC came to stay with us for a week! It's the third time he comes to see ME!

Everyday we did something special with him. We showed him the train museum. He had to see it after reading the blog and seeing how much we like this place.

We have a few family portraits thanks to him. He took over 500 pictures during his stay with us! Dan is an excellent photographer and has a blog too!

Gabriel was very fond of him too. Dan played so much with us, I didn't want him to leave...

We showed Dan our favorite parks.

It was so nice outside, we even got to use the pool a few times with him.

Dan quickly realized that Gabriel's favorite activity is to hose us down!

Look at this smile, this toddler is a handful! He is starting to respect the rule of never spraying people that are unarmed with water guns.

I love this game too, even if I don't like getting wet!

We are a happy family. It was great to have daddy with us for three weeks straight. Mommy was working, but she finished early and was able to join us on some adventures.

I had fun showing Dan how agile and strong I am! I do look like He-Man here!

I flew my kite with mommy and all my little friendly neighbors.

I can run really fast too!

We went to the Biodome and had so much fun. We even got an annual membership pass!

We also went to the aquadome and a water park.

Dan ran under the swing and I was able to touch the sky!

I even crossed the arch for the first time all by myself!

My English is now really good, I was able to talk and have nice conversations with my Godfather.
Gabriel's baby talk is clear or unclear for everyone!

Thank you so much Dan for coming. I had a blast and so did my family. You are welcome here anytime you want and soon it will be our turn to go back to BC for a visit! I can't wait! I also want to go to Disneyland!
