Scattered happy moments of the summer 2010

Mommy's little digital camera was forgotten in the back of her mini-van for the whole month of August... here are some scattered fun moments from July with our friends!

I took this picture of my mom and Gabriel. Daddy and mommy trust me enough to even use the big expensive camera now. I must say I am a good photographer. Look at mommy and Gabriel, they do look alike (shape of the eye, the lips, the smile, the eyebrows).

Mommy took this picture of me... I am an easy subject!

I took this one of daddy and Gabriel. Did you know that Gabriel is very much daddy's little boy and that I am mommy's big girl?

We went to the hot air balloon festival... wow so many inflatable toys!

I am no longer afraid to try anyone of them! Look at me go down this slide!

Gabriel could not do much... there...

nor at the train museum... except eat his feet!

We went for the last time to the train with Kiran and his mom. Our membership expired. Mom said she would find another interesting museum to suscribe to shortly.


We went to the beach with Charlotte one day without Gabriel...

We loved it, it was Charlotte's first time at the beach she said. I am glad it was with us!

We finished the day in the pool with uncle Jean!

We had fun celebrating Sofia's 2nd birthday!

Gabriel does not like it when I pick him up, but I do it anyway!

Gabriel and I really enjoyed riding her three-wheelers!

Mommy and daddy can I get one for my birthday, pleeeeaaaase?

I loved watching the hundreds of hot air balloons floating in the sky above us while we waited at the restaurant. We will go back to that festival next year for sure.

Montreal's children festival (August 2010)


My parents felt I was finally big enough to go to the Montreal's children festival. What a nice place for kids to hang out for a few days! You need a few days to be able to see everything and it's free, unlike the Vancouver children festival! Right out of the gate, I got to go fishing! I have been dreaming of fishing (I don't really know why, but I do!).

Gabriel came along but he did not enjoy it! Let's blame it on teething or lack of sleep...but he has been sleeping better the last few days... sleeping all night (he might be whining but mommy has a fan in her bedroom and cannot hear everything).

After fishing, I got to try an army boot camp.

Gabriel and daddy tried to catch up with me, but I was much faster!


I got to see Sybella Rose (I think that's her name...)

Look at how attentive I am.

I also got to shave a balloon, put make-up on a mannequin and comb her hair.

We made some crowns and Gabriel wore his as a belt.


I love playing in the ropes and climb as high as I can.

The best part was to get my face painted as Spiderman again.


Say good bye to this cute little face! Gabriel has two more teeth coming up on top! It has been fun times with him lately (NOT)! Teething looks painful doesn't it?

So many birthday parties! (August 2010)

Wow!!! August is a popular month to have babies! It was Nilesh's birthday and then a week later came baby Patel!


Carmen and Nilesh make beautiful babies. Kiran is always smilling and is favorite song is If you're happy and you know it clap your hands! Very appropriate I would say. He was disappointed I did not go to the hospital to greet his new baby brother...

Gabriel and I will meet him soon enough. Congratulations to the Patel family!

It was also grand-papa's birthday! The best gift for him is to get a ton of hugs and kisses from me and Gabriel. Can you tell? Oh, I forgot, he love tante Caro's Norvegian cake and sucre à la crème!

We celebrated tante Stéphanie's birthday over at mamie's and papie's house.


Stephanie is glowing as she is entering her 30th week of pregnancy.


I ate so many freezies, mommy stopped counting after 4! Yum delicious, especially the white ones! Chloé likes them too!


Everyone knows what Gabriel's favorite food and/or drink is!


Stephanie was impressed or scared by the rocketship candles on or super chocolate cake!

I got to eat all the dark chocolate around the cake... yum and go to bed extra late! I love parties!

We had fun playing outside with mommy and daddy.

I told you tante Stéphanie looks great and the sass is still there.

Mamie had a good time too! She is a great hostess! Her birthday is coming up as well... next blog!

Grand-maman's family reunion (August 1, 2010)


Every summer, grand-maman's oldest and only brother Jean-Paul (and let's not forget his wife Mireille who prepares the meal) invites the whole family for lunch.

It was a gorgeous day and it was great to have Juliette and Gabriel as new blood on this side of the family.Ariane, Gabriel's official hair dresser, and Juliette.

Tante Caro was there to play with us.

Marc-André got to meet all the aunts and uncles for the first time.

Mireille and Jean-Paul are amazing grand-parents to baby Juliette.

Ariane had a lot of love to give to Gabriel. He seemed to forget for a while that she is the one causing him great displeasure while cutting his hair!

I played with Charlotte the whole afternoon.


Hugging her every time I had the chance!


Mommy was there and we got a few pictures of us together.

Daddy was working... next year maybe he'll be there...

Can you tell Gabriel got ¨fire¨. That might be what is keeping him up at night! Yes he still wakes up 3 times a night.

We are the 3 grand-children for now (Ariane not included of course!).
