Spiderman on Canada Day (July 1st 2010)

It's officially summer! I am on vacation. I don't go to day care very much! I convince mommy and daddy to sleep over at anyone that is on vacation so I get to stay with them instead of going to daycare! Don't get me wrong, I love daycare, but I get everything I want with my grand-parents, aunts and family friends! I am no fool!

We spent the day around Stephanie's pool.

I am starting to swim on my own, it's very difficult. I touch the bottom of Stephanie's pool so it's easier for me to learn there than in my own pool. Her pool is heated, I love that!

So does everyone else!

Except tante Stephanie! The water is always too cold for her! She did not even like a little splashing on my part!

Tante Stephanie always has Freezies in her freezer. Chloé and I love them very much even if they are not healthy for you!

Daddy seems to have a few more days of vacation than usual. We love that!

I am on vacation ready to go to the beach!

Charlotte came to spend Canada day with me! She even slept two days at my house! I love her so much! I give her big hugs all day long.

Canada Day was weird this year. We only had time to get our make-up done... we were waiting in line to jump on the Nemo inflatable castle and then it starting raining! Charlotte and I wanted cool balloons sot we waited more than an hour in line, in the rain shall I add, to get that and then we left because I was starving!

Mommy and I went to see Honda and Christine! Mommy even went on Honda's back, too bad there are no pictures of that!

I did not want to go on Honda's back, but I was very happy to brush her. I did not know that a horse sheds that much!

All aboard the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Train! (June 24th 2010)

We did two fun activities this week. We celebrated Saint-Jean Baptiste with tante Caro and a whole bunch of fire fighters and police officers! It was great, but I got annoyed of hearing the police siren. The sound it makes is so loud and well annoying!

Gabriel chewed on Marco's walkie-talkie for a while!

and I got to try on a fire fighter's helmet and sit in the fire truck!

I got to jump in a few inflatable castles! I don't really like waiting in line for my turn to come... but again who does?

Did I tell you how much I love my baby brother?

We went to the train museum with Sofia, Darcy and Cameroun (and their parents).

Yes, I know we go there a lot but we got a membership there...
and who gets tired of seeing train and riding on them?

I don't!
Once again we all had fun and so did our guests!

We brought a picnic in order to enjoy this day even more!

Gabriel is too young to go on the mini-train (according to the conductor). The membership expires in August... maybe by then!

Summer before June 21st! (June 19th, 2010)

Summer is not officially here but it's warm and we are celebrating it! We went to the beach with my cousin William. We are the same age (William is 4 days older), we are calm, cautious, creative, sensitive, good kids, who happened to wear a Habs jersey without even consulting! Amazing! We got along great during this first outing at the beach this year.

Gabriel had a blast as well! He loves water, even coolish water.

He is a big fan of eating sand. Mommy had to keep an eye on him!

I got to swim and jump on some inflatable bouncy castle (two days in a row by the way! Is anyone jealous of my great existence?)

It was fun going down the mini baby slides. I don't know how to swim yet. Mommy said we will be working on that this summer.

Mommy is starting to get her shape back with her running three times a week.

The pool is fixed! Tante Caro was the first one to jump in it this season! She is very glad we changed the lining and that we still have a pool! Gabriel once again loved it!

I love going on the swings lately...

even the baby swing with Gabriel swinging beside me!

Happy father's day to the best daddy in the world; mine! He has had a few days off this week, it was great to do lots of fun activities with him.

PS I don't have a picture, but I wore a dress against my will last Thursday. We went to a funeral and mommy forced me to wear it. She said it was non negotiable (what does that mean?). I cried a lot and daddy bought me a slush to ease my pain. I took it off as soon as we got back to the house! I hope I never have to endure this treatment again!

Grand-parents' love (early June 2010)

We got together before grand-maman and grand-papa left for Cuba. I love my grand-parents so much, can you tell? No wonder my parents decided to move back to their hometown. Gabriel gets just as much love as I do from them.

You can't see but his first tooth just pierced his gum. He is a late teether at 81/2 months!

All his energy went to growing his hair! Yes Donald Trump is back!

I sure hope grand-maman got to rest in Cuba, she helps mommy a lot with us at supper time.

This beauty is Caillou, Charlotte's pooddle.

Gabriel likes dogs just as much as I love them.

Here is Gabriel at daycare with Annie, our caregiver during the day. What is mommy doing? She says she is getting ready to teach Baby Signs for the Fall and maybe the summer if people sign up for it! She is doing a lot of volunteer work for the breastfeeding group she is involved with

Gabriel's best friend at daycare is Mika. They chew the same toys and see the world from the same perspective.

Here is another nice picture of us at Charlotte's last race with her school.

Were are posting two videos this week. One of me playing soccer, I doubt I'll play for FIFA one day!

The other one is Gabriel laughing at Caillou, his laugh is so precious!
