Ginormous Baby (Late January 2010)


We are surviving without grand-maman and grand-papa around. They are living the life in Florida for a few months.

We are actually doing pretty well considering that daddy is working a lot as well. Gabriel loves jumping in his Jolly Jumper! It is his favorite toy for now!


I spend a lot of time with ginormous baby Gabriel. Daddy calls him this way for a good reason (giant and enormous fused together by the way...) at only 4 months old he weighs a whopping 17.3 pounds and measures 66.5 cm. It puts him in the 90th percentile!


Only 10% of the babies his age are bigger than him! We have not met one of those yet! Here is cousine Élodie (7 months) that is almost the same size as Gabriel(4 months)! Both of them are tall for their age!
He is super strong and healthy and I cannot wait to go roller skating with him.

Mommy is keeping super busy during the day when I am at daycare.


She has been seeing her friends and her cousins with babies. She has been to the doctor's office for a regular check-up and vaccination for Gabriel. She is volunteering with a breastfeeding support group and she just started teaching Baby Signs classes at the public library! She is also trying to cook more meals that I keep on rejecting after tasting them with aprehension!


It has been really cold lately, so we mostly play indoors. Except for the times daddy can go play outside with me. Gabriel is not old enough to enjoy playing in the snow.

I cannot wait for the spring to see leaves, flowers, ladybugs, caterpillars and much more.


My new joy is to be a clown to hear my brother laugh. I am so happy, he laughs a lot more with me than anyone else!

Hello Juliette (end of January 2010)


Daddy was home for a few days and oh boy did we take advantage of it! On the same day we went skating and swimming! Daddy walked with Gabriel while mommy and I were skating.

The winter is really mild so far and Gabriel was able to come outside with us for a long stretch for the first time. I think he enjoyed it very much.

While I was swimming with daddy, mommy, tante Caro and Gabriel got to meet Juliette. Juliette is only 4 days old and she is my new cousin. Mommy told me that she is gorgeous and sleeping all the time!

There were so many visitors that Ariane and Mathieu, Juliette's proud parents, had their arms free to hold my little brother for a while. I am really looking forward to meet this little princess.

Tante Caro enjoyed holding all the babies in the room, especially her nephew.

It's my blog and no one took a picture of me this week! Mommy was able to film my car race with Justin, my new friend, at least.

Gabriel is growing so fast and so am I! (mid-January 2010)


Shadow is still one of my best friend. I got to played with him when we met tante Caro's new boyfriend, Marc-André and his son Antoine. Mommy did not take any pictures!!!! You'll all have to wait to see how good looking he is. Most importantly he is super nice.

I also played outside with tante Caro's little neighbours; Paul and my two cousins (Juliette and ? mommy does not know them but we are related!).

I am having so much fun being a big sister! I got to pretend I was a pirate and then a firefighter, mommy was a princess in her wedding dress and Gabriel was Minnie Mouse and later I turned him into a bear! I am a great actress and I practice hard every day. I am especially good at crying on cue!
I used my hook to capture Gabriel the bear.



I even agreed to be a princess for a whole 2 minutes! This is the only picture where I wasn't screaming and trying to rip it off. Good luck next time mommy!

Ho Gabriel, you will be angry at me later in the future when you see yourself as Minnie Mouse! You are so big, this costume was fitting me when I was one year-old. You are a giant baby.


Giant but oh so beautiful!!!


You look like you are 9 months old, but you're only 3 months old!



Gabriel met Sophie the giraffe and fell in love with her right away like most babies.



Daddy is working a lot with Haiti's earthquake. We get to hang out early in the morning as he takes us out of our beds.We met Bradon and it allowed Gabriel to try the exersaucer for the first time. Gabriel finally met another boy his age.


He is surrounded by lady friends otherwise like his cousin Élodie. She is the happiest baby ever!

I am ice skating and Gabriel got his first haircut at 3 months!!! (January 2010)


I love winter and winter sports... but I am not so sure about my little brother!

I went sliding with my dad. Gabriel and mom joined us for a big 30 seconds!!! It was too cold with the wind, Gabriel was not happy!


He is much happier taken a bath, he loves water almost as much as I do. Mommy is thinking of joining the gym so he can experience a heated pool like I did when we lived in Vancouver.

My little brother badly needs a haircut!


He got one from my hairdresser Suzanne and a few minutes later...

he looked like Brother Toc from Robinhood. I don't know who that is, but that is what everyone is calling him now! They seem to find it really funny!!!

I love winter so much my dad got overly ambitious and built an ice rink in our backyard!!!

It worked but it was too small for mommy's taste. We went to a park nearby to skate on a much bigger surface. It ended up being a great idea since I got to use a metal support for a few minutes to get use to sliding on ice instead of walking. I got a few bruises, but not on my head, tante Caro made sure of that with this incredibly bulky helmet. It was so much fun I refused to leave!!! Mommy insisted that Gabriel would need to feed eventually.

Mommy got everything on tape. Enjoy my first moments on the ice.






Gabriel got the cutest laugh. Mommy is making a duck sound that we both find very funny.

Good times during the Holidays (December 31st, 2009)

I was on ¨vacation¨ during the Holidays (i.e. not going to daycare). It was great, we did so many nice activities and saw so many people. I love the Winter Holidays. I ask my mom everyday if it's Christmas again soon!!! I thrive on all the attention and gifts I received from the many adults in my life.

I even agreed for mommy to give me lulus so I could stay up an extra ten minutes!!! I made her believe that I would allow her to tie up my hair the next day!!! I got her good, I refused her to even touch my hair the next morning!!! I do look adorable with my hair like this though. I might change my mind in the future...


It was nice to spend time with my daddy, he had 6 days off in a row!!! We played Spiderman with my new watch, daddy was the Green Goblin while a was kid Spiderman.

I saw the Mickey Mouse Playhouse show at the Théatre Saint-Denis with Maribel and mommy Geneviève and my two cousins Holly and Ryan and their parents and big surprise...

mommy came with Gabriel!!! My little brother saw his first show at 3 months old!!! He did not like it too much (it was loud and he was tired) but I sure did! I loved it so much, I barely noticed that mommy left with Gabriel so he could sleep in her arms for half the show. I am so grateful that papie gives us all these fun tickets, THANK YOU PAPIE.

We also invited Tarah and Shirley to come for lunch on the 28th, it was nice for mommy to see her friends and have a nice meal with them.

Carson played with my Car's speed track for over two hours. I was happy to share with him the nice gift Santa brought me this year.

Santa gave Gabriel a nice pyjama, I hope he gets a nicer present next year!

On the 27th, she invited Julie, Geneviève and Dany for supper while I slept over at grand-maman's house.


Over the Holidays, we got to spend s lot of time with our two families. Mamie cuddled with Gabriel in between cooking meals on Christmas day. We always have brunch at mamie's on the 25th.

Uncle Chris always loves to hold baby Gabriel, who turned three months old the day after Christmas.

I cuddled with Chloé, she almost fell asleep on me!

I got binoculars and a sleigh amongst other things.

It was Gabriel's turn to bring a Christmas miracle into Mamie's and Papie's house this year!!! Three years ago, I wore the same Santa outfit in order to surprise daddy's family.Surprise Santa was sleepy in cheery aunt Stephanie's arms.

Papie is ready to hold Gabriel as he is getting bigger.

On the 24th, we celebrated Christmas with mommy's side in our house. Gabriel spent some quality time in tante Caro's arms. She loves calling him buddy.

I read my new books with grand-maman. I actually got one book made for me from her. I am the main character in the story and my friends Annabelle and Alexis help me build the biggest snowman.
We did go outside to build snowmem amd snowwomen and snowkids! Even Gabriel came along when i was not too cold. His new thing lately is to make bubbles and produce a funny sound with them!

Mommy went sliding down the hill with me twice as grand-maman kept an eye on Gabriel at home! She did not bring the camera, she did not want to break it.

We sprayed Santa's magical reindeer dust for Santa to be able to find our house and chimney on the 24th at night.

It was fun to do it with the whole family.

Santa even left some snowy footprints from the fireplce to the Christmas tree.

A few days before Christmas, Eric came and we all played with my PlayDoh. Daddy was throwing shapes at me. Mommy even caught it on film!

Gabriel was not being very nice with Eric... maybe that's why he only got a pyjama as a gift!!!


Daddy filmed my reaction on Christmas morning at 6:00 am as I woke up and discovered that Santa left some footprints in my house. I was really upset about the mess he left behind!!!
